The year is swiftly coming to a close

I know it's only April, but if you look at course work, Danielle is going to be done with 2nd grade in a few weeks!! The only textbook she hasn't finished is her math. We have already moved on to the 3rd grade reading program, and I have put together our own social studies, science and art curriculum to get us through till school is officially out. Between now and summer vacation we have a ton of things going on. STAR testing, field trips and classes are dotted all over the calender. It seems like after a fairly casual school year, suddenly things have become very frantic..
