Hey, I thought we were all about tolerance. Well, tonight we had four families "peacefully assembled" ..holding up "yes on 8" signs, standing on a street corner, and people came by and threw a can and then a bottle at me. What's that all about, where's the tolerance for me? Why can't my opinion be tolerated and where's my right to free speech?

Well, Anonymous, I don't know who you are, but all I can say is there are idiots on BOTH sides of every issue. I don't condone idiots behavior, but I also don't think it has ANYTHING to do with the issue at hand.

Okay, Anonymous (who is not Genevieve, LOL) I see this is a hot button issue for you. But, hey, that's what blog space is for, right? So take your opinions on 8 and the people who support it and talk about it on your blog. I am done publishing comments from anonymous people (again, not Genevieve, who signed her post) who just want to be negative.

It's my blog and I'll vote for gays to marry if I want to!

I like your blog- BTW- I tried to stumble it with the links that you have at the bottom of your posts but an error message comes up. I also found some great widgets here that I might use on my blog- thanks!

There is a lot of misleading advertising opposing prop 8.

Under California law, “domestic partners shall have the same rights, protections, and benefits” as married spouses. (Family Code § 297.5.) There are NO exceptions. Proposition 8 WILL NOT change this.

Domestic Partnerships are NOT the same as marriage. Domestic partnerships are just legal documents. They don’t provide the same dignity, respect, and commitment as a marriage. In a marriage, a paramedic doesn’t tell you that you cannot get into an ambulance with your spouse. Married couples can automatically make life or death decisions for each other in these crisis situations, no questions asked. Vote No on 8.

If prop 8 doesn't pass, then which individuals could marry? I assume that you would not discriminate between a polygamous group.

Cause ~ I did delete your comment, because your words were hurtful and hateful, and really not necessary to make your point. I will NOT tolerate any form of hate speech on my blog, so while I am "for real" and do care, I don't care for your tone or approach to the arguement. NOW, if you can rewrite your thoughts without the hateful words I am more then willing to publish it.

Anonymous ~ GET REAL! Prop 8 has NOTHING to do with polyamory. I have nothing against polyamorous people (heck, some of my friends are poly), BUT let's keep the argument on task, and on the facts. Marriage would still be between 2 people, not 3, 4 or 5. If you have a real point to make, then please by all means do so.

Once again "The Cause", I am not posting your comments. And if you took two seconds to read my blog, you'd have your questions about me answered. I am just gonna keep deleting, unless you write a comment that makes sense and is on topic.

It's my blog and I'll DELETE if I want to ;) I don't have to have "what it takes" to post your comments, why don't you have what it takes to start your own blog to get out your rambling thoughts??

Cool, Good luck with that
