Still, I think my son has scarred some goat psyches for life.
I just watched a documentary called:The Emotional World of Farm Animals". For the first part my seven year old son watched with me. He said, "The only pig I don't care if it gets killed is the daddy pig."
"Why?"
"'Cuz my mama ones have the babies."
I tried explaining but don't know if it got through. He didn't respond and the silence spoke of his disbelief at the male's responsibility in reproduction. :)
